Minecraft is a survival, adventure, and creative game made for everyone.
Minecraft was released in May of 2009 by Mojang studios and is still going strong today! It was targeted toward our generation (Gen Z) obviously when we were younger since our creativity at the time was at the max. But even now the younger children of this generation are loving the game.
Create your own story
There are no limitations in Minecraft creative mode. In creative you have unlimited blocks, health and hunger. You can even fly in creative! It doesn’t matter if you are good or bad at building, Minecraft has no limitations. You can build castles, houses, barns, walls, farms, sky scrapers, cars, boats and planes. The only limit in creative mode is yourself. Even if you aren’t good at building you can watch YouTube videos and learn just the basics of building with interiors and exteriors and evolve from there.
Survive your own story
Minecraft has a survival mode that can be Peaceful, easy, normal, hard, and hardcore. The difficulty drastically changes the game’s dynamics like monsters, food usage, and spawn locations. In peaceful mode, monsters do not spawn and you barely use any of your food. In easy mode, monsters do spawn but they don’t do a lot of damage, you also use a little bit of your food since you’ll probably end up running away from the monsters. In normal mode, monsters spawn at night and during the day in some spots in the shade, your food usage is about the same as real life since it is normal mode. In hard mode, monsters spawn pretty frequently and can spawn anywhere where there is not enough light, your food and regeneration really come into effect here too since the mobs now can hit really hard so you might want to run. And then there’s hardcore. Hardcore is just like real life, if you die, you’re dead, the world is completely done. Your health regenerates super slowly and it cannot heal unless you are at full hunger. Your hunger also decreases basically every time you run or jump or walk. So play hardcore just like you do in real life, take it slow and live in the moment.
Mojang has released Minecraft story mode since 2009 and was also a hit, but no other survival and creative game is even a little bit successful like Minecraft, overall Minecraft is a very enjoyable game and can be stressful, and enjoyable.
