Spoiler alert for season 5, episode 1 of Cobra Kai: Strike first, Strike hard, and No mercy are the three worrisome morales of Cobra Kai dojo, but currently Cobra Kai is under new management after the old sensei got into legal trouble(an incident with a past student). The new management came with a higher amount of marketing and high-tech training for the dojo. The marketing for the dojo is giving the owner a better look for the public. The head manager is Terry Silver, a man who inherited his money and company DynaTox from his father. The last time we saw Silver was Karate Kid 3 back in the 80s, and when he joined the cast in season 4 to help the former sensei and friend John Kreese. As Cobra Kai grows stronger, the opposing dojos have to call for a helping hand from someone who is a long way from home. Miguel, a student of one of the dojos, goes on a mission to find his father he never knew in Mexico while this is happening. While Miguel is in Mexico, Sam the daughter of Daniel and Amanda Larusso is worried about a past fight and how she could have changed it in her favor with the belief that she failed her family. “This wouldn’t be happening if I hadn’t lost to Tory at the tournament, this is all my fault”, said Sam. While that is happening, Robby and his father Johnny are driving to Mexico to save Miguel without Robby knowing the real purpose of the drive. “How could you take me down to Mexico and not mention once we were coming to get Miguel” exclaimed Robby. As all of that is happening, Cobra Kai grew stronger and took over other dojos and overfilled it with commercialism and marketing, while Kreese is rotting in jail. Daniel Larusso is also having Chosen live with him, against his wife’s better wishes. “This is not ok Daniel, it is crazy enough that you flew him out here, but you didn’t tell me he was going to be living with us”, said Mrs. Larusso. The eposide ends off with Chozen going undercover in Cobra Kai as a sensei.
