We all know the famous hydro flask water bottle has been in trend for a couple of years now. It started with ‘VSCO Girls’ who dressed and acted a certain way among teens in late 2019. An accessory they tended to carry around was a hydro flask. Now, this water bottle is still used for its good quality. Hydro Flask is a stainless steel water bottle that can keep cold or hot drinks at the right temperature for hours. Large enough for all-day hydration and easy drinking, the bottle straw cap is made of professional-grade stainless steel and features a wide opening for faster filling. There are many different sizes and designs. Cups, bottles, and jars come in many colors and styles. For larger-size hydro flasks, it is around fifty to sixty dollars. Smaller sizes range from thirty to forty dollars.
We now have a Stanley cup going into the trend. Is it the new hydro flask? The Stanley cups are made from recycled stainless steel for sustainable drinking. It provides maximum hydration with less refilling. Water stays cold for hours. Coming in multiple sizes. The most popular is the forty-ounce, with a built-in handle and a straw. The lid has straw openings and fully covered tops that prevent splashing while keeping the straw in place. The handle includes a comfortable grip for easy carrying. A lot easier and more convenient for the on-the-go. The famous forty-ounce Stanley cups sell for forty to fifty dollars. These cups have splurged all over the market and became an internet topic. With the cups being sold out, it may be a little hard to get your hands on one right now.
You have probably seen many students walking around with one of these water bottle brands. Let us ask around and see which they prefer.
Sophomore Malaya Fuller stated, “I prefer a hydro flask because it fits in my backpack pocket and does not spill. It’s more convenient to carry rather than a heavy Stanley Cup.” I can easily slip my hydro flask into my backpack pocket. With no spills and I enjoy not having to carry a water bottle around.
Junior Katie De Souza quoted, “I say Stanley’s because the style is different as opposed to a hydro flask which is a classic design we have seen many times, I also feel more prone to drop and dent my hydro flask more.” The amount of times my hydro flask has dropped is unreal. The loud sound isn’t the best. Hydro flasks have been around for some time, and it’s nice to see the new change.
Senior CC Chuol said, “Stanley’s only because they come in many cute styles and are very durable.” Stanley’s cups have a nice structure. The cup handle is suitable for allowing you to not drop the cup.
Hydroflasks or Stanley Cups, stay hydrated, and drink your water!
