As the holiday season unwraps, everyone is watching their favorite Christmas movies. Traditionally, the most watched Christmas Movies each year are Home Alone, Elf, A Charlie Brown Christmas, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, and more. These Movies bring holiday spirit into the season and bring joy to everyone. Everyone has a favorite holiday movie and here are opinions from Hannah O’Conner, Jett Lunde, and Emerson Ekis on the best Christmas movie of all time. 

Therefore, Hannah O’Conner revealed how her favorite Christmas movie to watch during the holiday season is Elf. The movie Elf is based on a boy named Buddy who is transported to the North Pole as a toddler and grows up there with the elves. As Buddy grows up he makes his way to New York City where he is searching for his biological father. Hannah revealed that Elf is her favorite holiday movie because she loves watching it with her family, and many people are familiar with lines from the movie itself. “It is funny and I always watch it with my family and it is iconic while everyone quotes it.” One of the most well-known quotes from Elf is, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear.” While it is known to be the most famous quote from the movie, it also gives people a good view of the movie. 

While Elf is a great holiday movie, another popular one is How The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. Jett Lunde explained How The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is her most watched movie around the holidays. This movie revolves around a green grinch who wants to ruin the citizens of Whoville’s holiday cheer. However, in one year, his plans change when he comes across Cindy Lou Who. Jett stated, “How The Grinch Stole Christmas is one of my favorite holiday movies because it is a classic Christmas movie and is good to watch with friends and family. While it’s fun to watch the movie itself and see how the characters like the Grinch change throughout the movie.” Even though this movie is meant for kids, it is a classic movie that anyone could watch around the holiday season. One of the most popular quotes from How The Grinch Stole Christmas is “I’m the Grinch that stole Christmas. And I’m…sorry.” How The Grinch Stole Christmas is a popular and entertaining holiday movie to watch overall. 

Furthermore, Emerson Ekis said Home Alone is her favorite holiday movie. Home Alone is the number one most-grossing Christmas movie. This movie is based on a boy named Kevin McCallister and how he misses the flight to Paris with his family and is home by himself. One of the all-time famous quotes from the movie is “Keep the change, ya filthy animal.” This quote is said by Johnny The Gangster in the movie. It is a popular quote because it is a very over-dramatic and funny line people will like to often repeat. Emerson Ekis revealed, “Home Alone is my favorite holiday movie because it is entertaining and a classic that you want to keep watching.”
